paintings  with  a  focus  on  iconic  images  of  arizona  and  new mexico

In 2011, following a spinal cord injury and significant post-surgical complications my life took a detour.  A combination of medical factors made it impossible for me continue my work as a research psychologist.  My lifelong passion for painting was also impacted.   I had trouble using brushes, let alone setting up easels.

Over time I began to rely more and more with painting digitally. That is, painting using my computer, a mouse and stylus.  Perhaps because my background was painting with acrylics, the bright, colorful works that I am  now painting on the computer actually l look like they are done with acrylics.
