Following a spinal cord injury in 2011 my life took a detour. A combination of medical factors made it impossible for me continue my day job work as a research psychologist. My lifelong passion for painting was also impacted. I had trouble holding brushes, let alone setting up easels.
Over time, just to have something to do, I began to paint digitally. That is, painting using my computer and a stylus. Perhaps, because my background was with acrylics; the bright, colorful works that I am now painting digitally have the look and feel of acrylics.
(My spinal cord injury also resulted in a book about recovery. If you are interested in downloading a FREE copy go the Recovery Book tab).
